Driverso Insurance and Security Deposit Policies

INSURANCE POLICY
To allow you to live your rental experience without worries, insurance coverage is included in the rental price for the following eventualities:
- Third party liability;
Damage and theft: the Collision and Loss Damage waiver (CDW & LDW) are included in the rental price and  the Customer's liability in the event that the car is damaged is limited to the amount of the deductible.
Read below how it works.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
To rent a car, the service provider will block a security deposit from the driver's credit card equal to the value of the deductible (which varies from car to car), also as a form of protection in the event of non-fulfillment of contractual obligations. The security deposit will be refunded immediately and in full, if the car is returned in integrity.

What happens if the car is completely damaged, or if it gets stolen?
Only the security deposit will be withheld and the customer will not incur a higher cost. The rest will be covered by the insurance.

What happens if the car suffers a slight damage, such as a scratch on the side?
The customer will have to bear the cost of repairing the damage caused, which will be deducted from the total amount of the deductible. If, for example, the deductible is £ 3.000 and the damage caused amounts to £ 150, the customer will be reimbursed of the remaining (£ 2.850).

What happens if I cause damage to third parties?
Any type of damage to third parties is covered in full by the insurance included in the rental price.

Driverso adopts a cost transparency policy and undertakes not to pursue any form of profit on the costs of repairing any damage caused to the cars. We address only contracted repairers and technicians, who apply the best rates on the market.
We never make profit on these matters as we prefer Clients to always remember  their amazing driving experience and not the scratch!
